Sozan Toksöz (University of Amsterdam)
I had been a research fellow at the NIT during the winter of 2018. My project focuses on the Dutch correspondents in Turkey’s changing journalistic environment. During my three week stay, I conducted studies on journalistic ideologies, differences in correspondents’ work processes, and the events that have influenced the Turkish journalistic environment in recent years. Moreover, I had the opportunity of giving a presentation about my project and receiving valuable feedback from the NIT team and other researchers at the NIT.
