Laurien de Gelder (2013)
In 2013 I was a fortunate guest of the Netherlands Institute in Turkey, Istanbul. As a master student Mediterranean Archaeology at the University of Amsterdam, I was granted a short-stay fellowship to do research on the planned archaeological site museum at Troy for my Master thesis.
My stay at the NIT was determining for my thesis, since I received the most important data by conducting face-to-face interviews. This great experience inspired me to follow my main research interest: the archaeological museum.
Currently I am working as a trainee at the Allard Pierson Museum in Amsterdam.
