Sozan Toksöz of the University of Amsterdam is currently at the NIT for her research project on Dutch correspondents based in Turkey
Sozan Toksoz, a master student in journalism at the department of media studies of the University of Amsterdam, is currently a research fellow at the NIT. Her project is titled “Dutch correspondents in Turkey's changing journalistic environment”. During her three week stay, she will conduct studies on journalistic ideologies, differences in correspondents' work processes, and the events that have influenced the Turkish journalistic environment in recent years. Sozan's field research mainly entails interviews with Dutch correspondents based in Turkey.
